While ISSN online with number: 2828-1764 validated for the Vol. 1, No. 1, January, 2022 with SK no. 0005.28281764/K.4/SK.ISSN/2022.02.

Since Volume 1 No. 2 July 2022, JIMPI: Jurnal Inovatif Manajemen Pendidikan Islam published five (5) articles, previously in Vol. 1 No. 1, January 2022 there were six (6) articles. The change from 6 articles to 5 articles is to improve the quality of the articles published.

Since Volume 2 No. 1 January 2023, JIMPI: Jurnal Inovatif Manajemen Pendidikan Islam published six (6) articles, previously in Vol. 1 No. 2, July 2022 there were five (5) articles. The change from 5 articles to 6 articles because of the increasing number of submitted articles, however, the quality of the articles is maintained and increased.

Since Volume 2 No. 2 July 2023, JIMPI: Jurnal Inovatif Manajemen Pendidikan Islam published seven (7) articles, previously in Vol. 2 No. 1, January 2023 there were six (6) articles. The change from 6 articles to 7 articles because of the increasing number of submitted articles, however, the quality of the articles is maintained and increased.

Since Volume 3 No. 1 January 2024, JIMPI: Jurnal Inovatif Manajemen Pendidikan Islam published ten (10) articles, previously in Vol. 2 No. 2, July 2023 there were seven (7) articles. The change from 7 articles to 10 articles because of the increasing number of submitted articles, however, the quality of the articles is maintained and increased.

On 1 April 2024, this journal has been accredited SINTA 5 as a scientific journal under the decree of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia number 72/E/KPT/2024 for 5 years valid from volume 1 number 1 January 2022.

Since Volume 4 No. 2 July 2025, JIMPI: Jurnal Inovatif Manajemen Pendidikan Islam has revised its article templates. This change aims to tidy up the layout of some information in the template as well as add some other detailed information about the article, such as copyright, license, DOI, and several other changes.
