Focus and Scope

Adabuna: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pemikiran (e-ISSN: 2808-4330, p-ISSN: 2809-4212) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Doctoral Program in Islamic Education, Universitas Islam Internasional Darullughah Wadda’wah. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December. Adabuna is devoted to the study of educational issues and issues of thought, with a particular emphasis on discourses, debates, and developments related to Islamic education and Islamic thought. The journal provides a forum for researchers, scholars, and professionals to present both empirical findings and theoretical contributions that enrich academic discussions on education and intellectual thought.

Adabuna places strong emphasis on manuscripts that explore educational studies and intellectual thought that are rooted in, related to, or critically engaged with Islamic perspectives. The journal welcomes research that analyzes educational practices, philosophical foundations, transformative ideas, and contemporary intellectual movements, either in local, national, or global contexts.
