Wasilatuna: Jurnal Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam adopts an open-access publishing model in which article publication is supported through payments made by authors, their affiliated institutions, or funding agencies, commonly referred to as Article Processing Charges (APCs).

As an open-access publisher, which typically requires the upfront payment of an APC, all published articles are made immediately and freely available to the public upon publication in Wasilatuna: Jurnal Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam, in perpetuity, under the applicable license.
