Al-Jadwa: Jurnal Studi Islam gets ISSN Print with number: 2809-2783 validated since the Vol. 1 No. 1 September, 2021, with Decree no. 0005.28092783/K.4/SK.ISSN/2021.12. While ISSN online with number: 2808-4128 validated for the Vol. 1, No. 1, September 2021 with SK no. 0005.28084128/K.4/SK.ISSN/2021.10.

Since Volume 3 No. 1 September 2023, Al-Jadwa: Jurnal Studi Islam published ten (10) articles, previously in Vol. 1 No. 1, September 2021 until Vol 2, No. 2 March 2023 there were seven (7) articles. The change from 7 articles to 10 articles because of the increasing number of submitted articles, however, the quality of the articles is maintained and increased.

On 1 April 2024, this journal has been accredited SINTA 5 as a scientific journal under the decree of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia number 72/E/KPT/2024 for 5 years valid from volume 1 issue1 September 2021.

Al-Jadwa: Jurnal Studi Islam has revised its article templates since Volume 4 No. 2 March 2025. These revisions include adding details to the article manuscript, such as the "how to cite this article" section, article history, and other changes.

On 2 January 2026, this journal has been accredited SINTA 2 as a scientific journal under the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development Number 295/C/C3/KPT/2026 for 5 years valid from volume 4 issue 2, March 2025.
- Since Volume 6 No. 1, July 2026, Al-Jadwa: Jurnal Studi Islam has implemented a new publication frequency by publishing three (3) issues annually. The journal is now scheduled for publication in March, July, and November each year. This adjustment was made as part of the journal’s commitment to improving publication management, accommodating the growing number of manuscript submissions, and enhancing the dissemination of high-quality scholarly works while maintaining the journal’s academic standards.
