Fatimid Dynasty And Contribution In Education For Islamic Civilization In Egypt (909-1171 AD)

The Fatimid dynasty was a dynasty that lasted 262 years (909-1171 AD). This dynasty has been widely studied in terms of its formation and development history. However, researchers have not found anything that focuses more on the contribution of the Fatimid dynasty in the field of education to Islamic civilization at that time. Researchers also conducted this research to discover what contributions the Fatimid dynasty had made, especially in education. The research method used is a library research method based on existing literature, such as journals, books, and various related sources. The sources that have been obtained are processed using a historical approach. With this approach, researchers found that the Fatimid dynasty had made many contributions in the field of education to Islamic civilization at that time and still has an impact on the present through the works that have been produced. The contributions of this dynasty to education were thought and philosophy, Hadith science, Fiqh science, language science, and education and science and technology.
