About the Journal

Dalwa Islamic Economic Studies: Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah (p-ISSN: 2829-2650, e-ISSN: 2829-3924) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Islamic Economics Study Program, Faculty of Sharia, Universitas Islam Internasional Darullughah Wadda'wah, Pasuruan, Indonesia. The journal provides a scholarly platform for research in Islamic economics, Islamic finance, Islamic business and entrepreneurship, and Islamic economic law, with particular attention to contemporary developments in emerging economies and their interaction with global economic transformation.

Dalwa Islamic Economic Studies is committed to publishing original, theoretically grounded, methodologically rigorous, and empirically informed research that examines the application and development of Islamic principles in economic, financial, business, legal, technological, and socio-economic contexts. The journal seeks to strengthen the relationship between theory, policy, and practice by facilitating scholarly dialogue among researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers. It particularly encourages research addressing contemporary challenges such as digital transformation, financial innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, regulatory development, and the evolving role of Islamic economic institutions. Dalwa Islamic Economic Studies: Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah is published twice a year, in June and December.

NEW ARTICLE TEMPLATE FOR DALWA ISLAMIC ECONOMIC STUDIES

We would like to inform all prospective authors and researchers that, in an effort to enhance publication standards and indexing quality, the editorial board of Dalwa Islamic Economic Studies: Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah has officially implemented a New Article Template effective from:

Volume 5, Number 1, June 2026 Issue

Key Changes Include:

  • Layout Formatting: Updated page layout and typography to improve article readability and professional presentation.
  • Citations & References: Mandatory use of the APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Association) style.
  • Reference Management: Authors are required to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero.
  • Metadata Accuracy: Updated format for author affiliations and information to optimize indexing compatibility.

Instructions for Authors:

  1. Download the latest template via the "Manuscript Template" menu on our official OJS website.
  2. All manuscripts submitted for the June 2026 edition and onwards must adhere to this new format.
  3. Submissions still using the old template will be automatically returned for formatting adjustments before proceeding to the review stage.

Please ensure your manuscript is formatted according to the new guidelines to facilitate a smooth administrative process. Thank you for your continued contribution and cooperation.
