About the Journal

JURNAL PENDIDIKAN ISLAM, (p-ISSN: 2581-0065; e-ISSN: 2654-265X) is a journal published by Lembaga Penelitian Universitas Islam Internasional Darullughah Wadda'wah Bangil - Pasuruan. Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is published three times a year on March, July, and November. Jurnal Pendidikan Islam (JPI) is the leading journal in Islamic educational institutions concerning Islamic education. The journal promotes research and scholarly discussion concerning Islamic Education in Academic disciplines and Institutions, focusing on the advancement of scholarship both formal and non-formal education. Topics might be about Islamic educational studies in madrasah (Islamic schools), pesantren (Islamic boarding school), and Islamic education in university.

JURNAL PENDIDIKAN ISLAM has become a CrossRef Member since the year 2020. Therefore, all articles published by JURNAL PENDIDIKAN ISLAM will have unique DOI number.

UPDATE OF ARTICLE TEMPLATE

2026-08-17

Jurnal Pendidikan Islam informs all authors and prospective contributors that several updates have been made to the journal’s article template.

The updated template includes additional sections intended to strengthen transparency, research integrity, and compliance with current scholarly publishing practices. The newly added sections include:

  • Author Contribution Statement
  • Funding Statement
  • Data Availability Statement
  • Declaration of Interests

Authors are expected to use the latest version of the article template for all new submissions and to complete the relevant statements according to the conditions of their research.

These updates are part of JPI’s continuing efforts to improve the quality, transparency, and ethical standards of scholarly publication.

Authors are encouraged to download and use the most recent template available on the journal website before submitting their manuscripts.
