The background of this activity is the existing character crisis in education and the urgent need to instill religious values through consistent habituation, considering that SMK Arjasa had never organized religious activities since its establishment in 2017. The implementation method was carried out through three stages: observation, execution, and evaluation, spanning from January 2 to January 25, 2024. The mentoring activities included routine congregational Dhuhr prayers, regular Islamic studies, and the provision of social assistance to the underprivileged community. The results of the PkM show a positive impact on the students, namely increased discipline and obedience in performing prayers, acquisition of new religious knowledge, and the growth of caring and mutual help attitudes towards the surrounding environment through social service activities. This mentoring program is recommended for continuation so that the students' religious character is sustainably embedded.
2025-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Johara Indrawatihttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/filantropis/article/view/3558Sosialisasi Dampak Pernikahan Dini dalam meningkatkan Kesadaran Hukum Santriwati di Pondok Pesantren Al Kholiliyah Al Aziziyah Bangkalan2025-10-28T09:06:23+00:00Muhammad Abdullahibnuahmad7@gmail.comMujito Mujitodr.mujito@gmail.comMuhammad Yusron Maulana El-Yunusiyusronmaulana@unsuri.ac.id
This community service activity aimed to improve santriwati’s legal awareness of early marriage impacts at Al Kholiliyah Al Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School, Bangkalan. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method involving 15 participants, the program emphasized understanding the reproductive health, psychological, educational, and economic consequences of early marriage. Pre-test results showed limited knowledge (only 20–40% answered correctly), while post-test results demonstrated significant improvement: 93% understood reproductive health impacts, 87% psychological effects, 90% educational impacts, and 85% economic consequences. The activity also encouraged the formation of a peer group for early marriage prevention within the pesantren. These findings indicate that participatory and contextual approaches effectively enhance young women’s legal and social awareness while strengthening the role of Islamic boarding schools in preventing early marriage.
2025-11-07T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Abdullah, Mujito Mujito, Muhammad Yusron Maulana El-Yunusihttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/filantropis/article/view/3597Pendampingan Pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Manajemen dalam Pengelolaan Data Peserta Didik di SMP Al Munawwaroh Rejoso2025-11-07T11:41:42+00:00Deden Ramdhanirdeden23@yahoo.com
This community service activity aims to provide assistance in utilizing the Management Information System (MIS) for managing student data at Al Munawwaroh Rejoso Junior High School. This program was motivated by the lack of discipline and role models in elementary schools. The implementation method used a participatory approach through outreach, teacher training, mentoring, and evaluation. The program's results demonstrated an increase in students' religious behavior, discipline, responsibility, and politeness, along with a growing awareness of teachers as moral role models. The school environment became cleaner, more harmonious, and more religious. This program reinforces the theory of Islamic character education and habits and can serve as a model for replication in developing a generation of noble morals in other elementary schools.
2025-11-17T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Taufiqhttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/filantropis/article/view/3626Penghijauan Untuk Meningkatkan Semangat dan Motivasi Belajar Santri di Pondok Pesantren Darullughah Wadda’wah2025-11-13T12:06:08+00:00Nurul Fauzahfauzah13pas@gmail.com
The limited vegetation, high temperatures, and absence of green spaces in many Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) contribute to students’ cognitive fatigue, stress, and declining learning motivation. These conditions are further intensified by the demanding daily routines of santri, who require restorative environments to support their psychological well-being. This community engagement program aims to enhance comfort, motivation, and mental health among santri through a greening initiative employing a participatory empowerment approach. The program was implemented using the participatory action research (PAR) method, involving planning, training, planting activities, ongoing assistance, maintenance, and evaluation, with active participation from caregivers, administrators, and students. The results show that the greening activities improved the pesantren’s physical environment, reduced ambient temperature and dust levels, and created new green communal spaces utilized for informal learning. Beyond ecological improvements, the program significantly increased students’ learning motivation, academic discipline, and psychological comfort, strengthened by the integration of Islamic values related to environmental stewardship. The contribution of this program lies in offering an integrative model of greening that combines ecological practices with spiritual and educational values, providing a foundation for the long-term development of sustainable eco-pesantren.
2025-11-19T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nurul Fauzahhttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/filantropis/article/view/3638Peningkatan Pemahaman Dan Partisipasi Keagamaan Masyarakat Melalui Program Kajian Islam Interaktif di SMA Negeri 1 Sukapura Probolinggo2025-11-15T04:11:07+00:00Arif Rahmanarifrahman@uiidalwa.ac.idSulastri Sulastrisulastriillah@gmail.com
The Interactive Islamic Studies Program at SMA Negeri 1 Sukapura was developed to enhance the religious understanding and participation of students and the community amid the challenges of modernisation that affect the spiritual life of young people. The 2013 flood, with a water level of 3.5 meters, showed that the risk of disaster remains high. Previous independent conservation efforts have not had a significant impact, while the village's natural potential has not been optimally utilized. This study used a qualitative Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, through five stages: problem identification, action planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection, with the community of Sidodadi Village as active partners. The goal was to develop an integrated conservation model that integrates environmental education, community empowerment, and structured ecological action, while optimizing local potential for a sustainable economy. The research resulted in the establishment of the Tegalsari Indonesia Nature Campus (KATI) as a center for conservation education, including the establishment of a Mangrove Seed Bank, mapping of the Bajulmati River, data-based mangrove planting, and environmental education modules. Initial impacts include increased youth involvement, ecological literacy, and more coordinated and sustainable environmental management.
2025-12-07T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Fadhil, Nadia Safira Amalia Rahmasari, Hasanatut Thoyyibah, Fiqhan Khoirul 'Alimhttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/filantropis/article/view/3898Penerapan Ice Breaking untuk Meningkatkan Semangat Belajar Mengaji Santri Balita di TPQ Masyithoh Kabupaten Pasuruan2025-12-15T01:48:56+00:00Mukarromah Mukarromahmukarromah2378@gmail.comAsep Rahmatullahaseprahmatullah@uiidalwa.ac.id
Al-Qur'an learning for toddlers at TPQ Masyithoh in Pasuruan Regency faces the challenge of low enthusiasm and focus in learning. This community service program aims to increase the enthusiasm of students through the application of ice breaking. The activity began with observation and problem identification through direct observation and interviews with female teachers to understand the classroom conditions and teaching obstacles. Based on these findings, the team designed an ice-breaking package consisting of Islamic cheers, religious songs, educational games, Islamic storytelling, and group prayers with movements. The program was then socialized and coordinated with the TPQ to ensure smooth implementation. Ice breaking activities were carried out regularly before lessons began, with direct assistance from the PKM team to the teachers. Evaluations were conducted periodically by observing changes in student behavior, interviewing teachers, and documenting the activity process. The results showed an increase in enthusiasm, participation, and attention among students in Al-Qur'an learning. Teachers also felt that it helped them in managing their classes. The activity was concluded with a reflection and the preparation of an “Ice Breaking for TPQ” report as a form of program sustainability. In conclusion, ice breaking proved to be an effective learning strategy that was enjoyable and applicable for increasing the learning motivation of preschool students, and has the potential to be replicated in other TPQs with similar conditions.
2025-12-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Mukarromah Mukarromah, Asep Rahmatullahhttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/filantropis/article/view/3758Pemberdayaan Anak Yatim Melalui Pendampingan Intensif Pembelajaran Kitab Kuning di Panti Asuhan Sunan Kalijaga Malang2025-12-07T07:24:07+00:00Sodikin Sodikinsodikin@uiidalwa.ac.idLilik Aminahlilikaminah@uiidalwa.ac.idSiti Yumnahsitiyumnah456@gmail.com
This Community Service Program (PkM) was carried out at the Sunan Kalijaga Orphanage in Malang with the aim of empowering orphans through intensive mentoring in classical Islamic text (kitab kuning) learning. The program was motivated by the limited religious literacy among the orphans, particularly their difficulty in understanding traditional Islamic texts due to insufficient access to comprehensive religious education. The method employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involved caregivers, tutors, and the orphans in all stages of the activity—problem identification, planning, implementation, reflection, and follow-up. The mentoring process was conducted collaboratively using bandongan and sorogan methods, combined with a contextual learning approach emphasizing textual comprehension and the strengthening of Islamic character. The results show a significant improvement in the orphans’ ability to read and understand classical Islamic texts, along with an increase in motivation and self-confidence in studying religious sciences. Furthermore, the program successfully established an internal learning community as a strategy for program sustainability. The collaboration between lecturers, students, and orphanage caregivers created a positive synergy in developing religious education and social empowerment. This program applied an integrative mentoring model consisting of preparation, implementation, and reflective evaluation stages. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires involving two Scout instructors and thirty participating students. The results indicate a significant improvement in instructors’ ability to design moderation-based Scout activities, achieving an average competency score of 85%.
