Healthcare in Islam is viewed as the implementation of humanitarian values and worship, which must be based on the principles of Shiddiq, Amanah, Fathanah, and Tabligh (SAFT). This study aims to identify Dalwa Medical Clinic's service strategies and analyze their effectiveness in improving service quality based on the Islamic economic perspective. The study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive field research, where primary data is obtained through in-depth interviews with leaders, staff, and patients. The results show that the clinic's strategies, which focus on the quality of facilities, human resources, and patient relations, are in line with the principles of Shiddiq, Amanah, Fathanah, and Tabligh. However, significant obstacles were found in terms of operational efficiency, namely long waiting times at the pharmacy due to limited human resources. This gap indicates the need for managerial improvements to achieve the principle of Justice ('Adl) in service. The clinic's strategy is generally in line with Islamic ethics, but its effectiveness is not yet optimal, and improvements in human resource allocation and a more formal SOP structure are recommended.
Maimunah Maimunah, Mohammad Rofiuddin Copyright (c) 2025 Maimunah Maimunah, Mohammad Rofiuddin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/dies/article/view/3533 Mon, 01 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Dilema Transparansi Harga: Analisis Implementasi Akad Murabahah dan Mitigasi Risiko Gharar pada UMKM Busana Muslim https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/dies/article/view/3534
Installment sale transactions frequently raise potential issues regarding non-compliance with Sharia principles, making the murabahah contract a vital Islamic solution emphasizing the honesty and transparency of the cost price. However, implementing this contract in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector often faces practical challenges, particularly in fulfilling the essential requirement of cost disclosure. This study aims to analyze the Sharia compliance of the murabahah implementation at Toko Raina Collection and to describe the mitigation efforts for the resulting issues. The methodology employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design, utilizing observation and in-depth interviews with the store owner and customers for data collection. The findings indicate that the installment sales practice fulfills the general pillars of Islamic trade, such as ‘aqidain (parties) and sighat (offer and acceptance), but fails to meet the essential murabahah condition of disclosing the original cost price. The owner does not itemize the cost but sets a final total sale price, causing the contract to substantively shift to an ordinary deferred payment sale (bai' bitsaman ajil). This non-compliance is implicitly mitigated through setting a reasonable profit margin to maintain customer satisfaction (ridha). The study concludes that the practice is not kaffah (perfect) as murabahah. The research contributes empirical insight into the implementation gap of murabahah at the MSME level and offers recommendations for achieving full Sharia compliance.
Nor Jannah, Aziz Akbar Copyright (c) 2025 Nor Jannah, Aziz Akbar https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/dies/article/view/3534 Fri, 12 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Resiliensi dan Keberlanjutan Bisnis Halal Melalui Filantropi Syariah https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/dies/article/view/3643
The increasingly dynamic global economic conditions have posed a significant challenge to the sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). One of the challenges faced in today's business world is the VUCA era, which represents a rapidly changing landscape characterized by uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. This era forces every MSME to adapt to survive and maintain business continuity. The objective of this study focuses on an in-depth understanding of how sharia philanthropic practices are integrated into halal business management and their contribution to business resilience and sustainability. This research approach utilizes a qualitative case study design. The subjects were business owners, employees, and customers who had participated in the "donation package" program. Data collection was conducted using three main techniques: semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Field findings indicate that sharia philanthropic practices generate strong social capital, including network expansion, customer loyalty, and a positive reputation within the community. This social capital serves as a strategic resource that strengthens economic resilience, particularly in the face of fluctuating demand, competitive pressures, and culinary market dynamics. This study concludes that the sustainability of halal businesses at the MSME level depends not only on product innovation and digitalization, but also on the steadfastness of values internalized in daily management processes. Thus, the integration of sharia values, philanthropy, and operational management produces a form of resilience that is spiritual, social, and economic.
Churin In Copyright (c) 2025 Churin In https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/dies/article/view/3643 Sat, 13 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0000 The Implementation of Blockchain-Based Smart Contracts in Islamic Finance https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/dies/article/view/3760
This study examines the implementation of blockchain-based smart contracts in Islamic finance, focusing on the opportunities and challenges arising from their integration into contemporary financial systems. The scope of the research includes the technological characteristics of smart contracts, their compatibility with Sharia principles, and their potential applications across Islamic financial products such as sukuk, mudarabah, and murabahah. The main objective of this study is to analyze how smart contracts can enhance transparency, trust, and efficiency while identifying the legal, technical, and regulatory barriers that may hinder their adoption. Using a qualitative descriptive method supported by literature analysis from recent academic studies, regulatory reports, and case examples, this research evaluates both the transformative potential and practical constraints of blockchain technology in Islamic finance. The findings reveal that smart contracts offer significant benefits such as reduced transaction costs, improved compliance monitoring, and enhanced security. However, issues related to Sharia oversight, technological readiness, and regulatory frameworks remain substantial challenges. The study concludes that while blockchain-based smart contracts align with several objectives of Sharia, particularly transparency and justice, their widespread implementation requires collaborative efforts between technologists, Sharia scholars, and regulators to ensure both technological reliability and Sharia compliance.
Retno Endah Kusuma Wardani Copyright (c) 2025 Retno Endah Kusuma Wardani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/dies/article/view/3760 Sun, 21 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0000
