Likewise, Islamic counseling theories need to be introduced and implemented in the science of guidance and counseling. One of the theories that is important to know and glorify is Al-Ghazali’s psycho-spiritual counseling theory. This research aims to conduct an in-depth study of Al-Ghazali’s psycho-spiritual counseling theory. The research is oriented towards a qualitative approach, utilizing the library research method. Furthermore, it is analyzed by using the content analysis method. The results of this study explain that Al-Ghazali’s psycho-spiritual counseling theory focuses on revamping the aspects of al-nafs, al-qalb, al-ruh, and al-’aql as an effort to alleviate individual problems. This counseling is carried out through 5 important stages, namely, building good relationships with clients, recognizing themselves and identifying the causes of problems, applying the tazkiyah al-nafs approach with the rules of mujahadah al-nafs (takhalli), applying the tazkiyah al-nafs approach with the rules of riyadah al-nafs (tahalli) and assessment. The results of this study can be one of the guidelines and credible sources regarding the implementation of Al-Ghazali’s psycho-spiritual counseling, so that it can be applied as an intervention effort in overcoming individual problems.
2025-04-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad Wahid, Yeni Karneli, Solfema Solfema, Fathul Qorib https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almusyrif/article/view/2388 Handling Stress in Hospitalized Patients: Integration of Islamic Counseling and Dhikr 2025-03-04T05:01:07+00:00 Cintami Farmawati cintamifarmawati@gmail.com Annisa Mutohharoh annisamutohharoh@uingusdur.ac.id Saleha Idris salehaidris@gmail.com
Inpatients can experience stress due to various factors, including the disease they suffer from and the unfamiliar hospital environment. The stress experienced by patients can affect their physical and mental health and have an impact on the recovery process. One effective strategy to overcome stress experienced by patients is by integrating Islamic counseling and dhikr. This study aims to find out how Islamic counseling and dhikr affect stress in hospitalized patients. This study is a qualitative study. The subjects in the study were three hospitalized patients who were experiencing stress. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used was data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the integration of Islamic counseling and dhikr can handle stress in hospitalized patients. The study found a significant difference in the stress levels of hospitalized patients before and after they implemented Islamic counseling and dhikr. The integration of Islamic counseling and dhikr, or what is often called dhikr relaxation, can provide benefits and help patients to overcome stress problems. The integration of counseling and dhikr is the right combination; both can provide a more holistic and meaningful solution for patients in dealing with stress. It is recommended that future researchers expand their research by conducting quantitative studies on their effectiveness.
2025-04-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Cintami Farmawati, Annisa Mutohharoh, Saleha Idris https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almusyrif/article/view/2299 Predictive Influence of Psychosocial Work Hazards on Work-Related Burnout and Organizational Deviance Among Primary School Teachers 2025-03-04T04:33:49+00:00 Moses Onyemaechi Ede onyemaechi.moses@gmail.com Daphney Mawila dmawila@uj.ac.az
It is quite unfortunate that workers in developing countries experience job dissatisfaction accruing from hazardous work settings. These seemed to have posed mental and physiological stress on individuals, leading to unwholesome and unethical practices. Given these worrisome situations, this study investigated the relationship between psychosocial work hazards on work-related burnout and organizational deviance among primary school teachers. In pursuance of this aim, two research questions and hypotheses guided this study. A correlation design was employed in this study. A total of 254 primary school teachers participated in the study. Three scales that measured psychosocial work hazards, work-related burnout, and organizational deviance were used in assessing the participants. Pearson product-moment correlation and Linear regression statistics were used to analyze the research questions and hypotheses. The correlation analysis results revealed that psychosocial work hazards are associated with work-related burnout and organizational deviance among primary school teachers. Also, the results showed that psychosocial work hazards have a significant influence on work-related burnout and organizational deviance among primary school teachers. Practice implications for sustainable development were highlighted.
2025-04-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Moses Onyemaechi Ede, Daphney Mawila https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almusyrif/article/view/2484 Sakera Application as an Effort to Assess Mental Health and Self-Potential in Adolescents 2025-03-14T16:35:54+00:00 Diana Vidya Fakhriyani dianavidya@iainmadura.ac.id Lailatul Fitriyah lailatulf@gmail.com Nurul Laily nurullailynurul18@gmail.com Khoirul Umam Hasby khoirulumamh@hust.edu.cn
Mental health problems can be an obstacle to achieving psychological well-being. Mental health problems are susceptible to being experienced by anyone, including teenagers. Teenagers tend to be unable to understand their mental health condition and potential. The aim of this research is to find out: the creation and development of the SAKERA (Self-care, Knowing Excellent Potential and Realizing Dreams) application, teenagers' response (interest) in the Sakera application, and use of the Sakera application to help identify mental health problems and personal potential in adolescents. This research is research and development (R&D). The subjects in the research were 17 students at MA Al-Djufri Pamekasan. The results of this research and development show that, first, the Sakera application is "very suitable" to be used as an alternative application to determine mental health problems and the personal potential of teenagers. Second, teenagers' response (interest) in the Sakera application is in positive or high criteria. Third, the Sakera application can help to identify mental health problems and personal potential in teenagers. This study aims to explore the dynamics of toxic relationships among adolescents and seeks to enhance psychological well-being by evaluating the SFBC approach as its method Using a quasi-experimental design, this study involved 24 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Measurements were conducted using the Toxic Relationship Scale, which demonstrated validity scores ranging from 0.40 to 0.79 and reliability of 0.934, as well as the Psychological Well-Being Scale, with validity scores ranging from 0.6 to 0.95 and reliability of 0.543 and 0.828. The study employed a pretest-posttest design. In the basic assumption test, the pretest and posttest results indicated that all data were normally distributed and homogeneous, with a significance value of <0.05, allowing for the use of a T-test to analyze score differences. The T-test results indicate that SFBC counseling significantly improves the psychological well-being of adolescents in the experimental group, with their scores increasing from 44.00 to 100.67. This increase is higher than that of the control group, which only rose from 44.25 to 59.25. Thus, SFBC counseling has proven effective in enhancing the psychological well-being of adolescents trapped in toxic relationships. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that Solution-Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) can be an efficient and practical approach because it focuses on quickly applicable solutions, which aligns with the characteristics of teenagers who prefer counseling methods that provide immediate results.
2025-04-22T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Aminatuz Zahro, Ika Ariyati, Kus Hendar, Aprezo Pardodi Maba https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almusyrif/article/view/2450 The Identification of Wotu People’s Local Wisdom Values and Their Role in Indigenous Parenting 2025-03-04T04:56:16+00:00 Nur Mawakhira Yusuf nurmawakhira.psy@gmail.com Subekti Masri subekti_masri@iainpalopo.ac.id Kasmi Kasmi kasmi@iainpalopo.ac.id Salmiati Ali Salmi@iainpalopo.ac.id Ais Nur Ilahi aisnurilahi21@gmail.com Gunther Dress g.dress@t-online.de
Indigenous parenting is a parental attitude towards children that creates an emotional experience for children based on their cultural values.
