Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, the program actively involves members in planning, implementation, and evaluation. The initiative promotes living pharmacy (TOGA) cultivation such as ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, and betel in household yards to enhance physical health and environmental quality while generating economic potential through herbal product processing. The results show increased awareness of preventive health, productive land use, and a shift toward healthy, eco-friendly behavior. High participation and emerging entrepreneurial initiatives highlight the community’s growing independence. This study demonstrates that religious groups like the Yasinta Congregation can effectively serve as agents of social and environmental transformation toward a healthier and more empowered society.
Ahmad Qusairi, Asep Rahmatullah, Dino Afrija, Eman Rahmadi Copyright (c) 2026 Ahmad Qusairi, Asep Rahmatullah, Dino Afrija, Eman Rahmadi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/4207 Mon, 12 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Optimalisasi Pengolahan Bahan Pustaka dan Temu Balik Informasi melalui Sistem Otomasi SLiMS di Perpustakaan Politeknik STIA LAN Makassar https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/3613
This community service activity aims to optimize library material processing and information retrieval strategies at the STIA LAN Makassar Polytechnic Library through the implementation of the SLiMS automation system. The initial problems included incomplete bibliographic data, entries, and mismatches between book locations and the system records. The activity was carried out through a one-month field practice consisting of several stages, including ownership stamping, inventory recording, classification, data input into SLiMS, label printing, and collection arrangement. As a result, all donated collections were successfully processed with complete supporting metadata, the automation system became more accurate, and collections were easier to locate. This activity also enhanced the skills of librarians and students in technology-based information management.
Muhammad Rusydi Tajussabirin Ma'duni, Sarmila Sarmila, Siti Chairunnisa , Sitti Husaebah Pattah Habsyi, Touku Umar, Saenal Abidin Copyright (c) 2026 Muhammad Rusydi Tajussabirin Ma'duni, Sarmila Sarmila, Siti Chairunnisa , Sitti Husaebah Pattah Habsyi, Touku Umar, Saenal Abidin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/3613 Sat, 07 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Membangun Literasi Keagamaan dan Sosial Masyarakat Melalui Dakwah Partisipatif Mahasiswa di Desa Tenggilis Kabupaten Pasuruan https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/3266
This community service aims to develop religious and social literacy through participatory da’wah based on the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach in Tenggilis Village, Pasuruan Regency. The activities focused on active community involvement in religious programs such as Qur’anic literacy, Juz ‘Amma memorization, and Arabic language learning, as well as social initiatives like herbal gardens, communal clean-ups, and clean culture awareness. The students served as facilitators, assisting the community in identifying and developing local potential. The results of the service indicate that the ABCD approach effectively fostered communicative collaboration, strengthened the role of local religious figures, and encouraged sustainable initiatives such as the independent reinforcement of religious activities. This program successfully integrated Islamic values into the community’s social and spiritual practices in a contextual and participatory manner.
Mukhamad Ainul Yaqin, Jefriyanto Jefriyanto Copyright (c) 2026 Mukhamad Ainul Yaqin, Jefriyanto Jefriyanto https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/3266 Sat, 07 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Pelatihan dan Penguatan Enterpreneurship Building pada Wirausahawan Muda MA Sunan Gunung Jati Pasuruan https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/4156
The problems of low entrepreneurial literacy, minimal business experience, and the dominant orientation of students as job seekers are the main challenges in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among the younger generation. This condition is also found in young entrepreneurs at MA Sunan Gunung Jati Pasuruan, who have great potential but have not been supported by systematic strengthening of entrepreneurial competencies and mentality. This community service activity aims to provide training and strengthening entrepreneurship building to improve students' entrepreneurial knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The implementation method includes participatory training, providing entrepreneurship materials, business motivation, group discussions, and practical preparation of simple business plans based on local potential and Islamic values. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship, growing self-confidence, independence, and courage in seizing business opportunities. In addition, participants were able to identify realistic business ideas and have an ethical orientation and social responsibility. This activity makes a real contribution to developing young entrepreneurs with character, adaptability, and competitiveness.
M. It aims to examine the implementation and impact of the NISA Program (Nahwu I'rab Sharaf al-Quran), conducted by Yahdifa.org. As a community service initiative, the program employs a participatory action method based on empowerment, comprising preparation stages (needs identification), implementation (online instruction via Zoom with an integrated curriculum), intensive mentoring, as well as evaluation and reporting. The findings indicate that the program has successfully fostered significant literacy transformation by building the cognitive confidence of participants from diverse backgrounds, despite facing the natural challenge of participant selection throughout the learning process. This initiative demonstrates that mastery of the foundational tools for understanding the Qur’an can be made accessible to the general public through a practical curriculum and a methodical, technology-adaptive approach.
Muhamad Muhamad Copyright (c) 2026 Muhamad Muhamad https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/4308 Sat, 07 Mar 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Akselerasi Promosi Wisata Mandailing Natal melalui Integrasi Media Massa dan Media Sosial Terpadu https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/4657
Mandailing Natal possesses immense tourism potential, yet it suffers from low visibility due to unintegrated communication strategies. This community service program aims to accelerate regional tourism promotion by integrating mass media management and unified social media strategies. The program implemented the Service Learning (SL) method, which integrates academic instruction with community needs. The implementation involved three main phases: field identification, service action through intensive workshops on digital branding and media relations for tourism managers (Pokdarwis), and a reflection session to evaluate program sustainability. The initiative resulted in a 60% increase in the media literacy and technical competencies of the managers. The implementation of a unified media strategy successfully boosted digital audience engagement by 45% and secured 5 publications in regional mass media. Furthermore, the transformation of local wisdom into persuasive digital storytelling has established a professional and credible destination brand identity. The synergy between formal mass media and interactive social media effectively bridges the information gap between regional destinations and potential tourists. This integrated approach not only enhances exposure but also fosters community independence in managing digital narratives. Strategic collaboration between academics and local stakeholders is essential for maintaining the momentum of digital tourism transformation.
Ahmad Salman Farid, Desi Yusdian Copyright (c) 2026 Ahmad Salman Farid, Desi Yusdian https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/4657 Fri, 17 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) dalam Menumbuhkan Lingkungan Berbahasa Arab (Biah Arabiyah) di Pondok Pesantren Riqa https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/4768
This community service program aims to cultivate an Arabic language environment (Biah Arabiyah) at Pondok Pesantren Riqa through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The initiative was driven by the observation that many pesantren possess significant human and institutional assets such as qualified ustadz, existing Arabic learning clubs, and motivated students yet these assets remain underutilized in creating a comprehensive and sustainable Arabic-speaking environment. The ABCD approach was applied by first mapping the internal assets of the pesantren, including the strengths, skills, and existing programs, and then leveraging them as the primary foundation for program development. Activities implemented included Arabic conversation training (muhadatsah), vocabulary enrichment campaigns (mufradat), Arabic-only zone establishment, daily Arabic expression habituation (ta'bir yawmi), and student leadership empowerment through a language ambassador program. The results demonstrate that the ABCD-based strategy effectively stimulated organic participation among santri, strengthened community ownership of the language program, and produced measurable improvements in spoken Arabic proficiency and confidence. This program affirms that community-based language development rooted in existing assets can serve as a replicable and sustainable model for Arabic language education in Indonesian Islamic boarding schools.
Syamfa Agny Anggara Copyright (c) 2026 Syamfa Agny Anggara https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/4768 Thu, 14 May 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Edukasi Pengelolaan Sampah Plastik Berbasis PAR di Dusun Krasak: Intervensi Tiga Level Menuju Desa Berkelanjutan https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/almuazarah/article/view/4826
Plastic waste management in rural areas remains an unsystematic environmental challenge in Indonesia.
