In this context, an Islamic values-based approach offers a potential solution but is rarely addressed in research. This study aims to analyze the relationship between individuals and organizations in an Islamic perspective and identify factors that influence employee retention. This research method uses secondary data through literature review related to the individual-organization relationship, especially in relation to the concepts of Person-Organization Fit, Islamic Work Ethics (IWE), and Psychological Contract. The results show that individual and organizational relationships based on the values of honesty, trustworthiness, and fairness can strengthen employee loyalty and improve retention. On the other hand, conventional factors such as fair compensation, job satisfaction, and a positive work environment also proved to have a significant effect on employees' decision to remain in the organization. The Islamic perspective further emphasizes the importance of Islamic Organizational Commitment and the concept of The Celestial Management, which integrates spiritual and sharia values to create a work environment that supports well-being and long-term commitment. This research provides new insights into how Islamic values can be implemented in employee retention strategies to sustainably strengthen the individual-organization relationship.
Nurul Wahida Aprilya Amrullah Amrullah Rika Dwi Ayu Parmitasari Alim Syariati Copyright (c) 2025 Nurul Wahida Aprilya, Amrullah Amrullah, Rika Dwi Ayu Parmitasari, Alim Syariati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-02-22 2025-02-22 4 2 165 181 10.38073/aljadwa.v4i2.1873 Implementation of Mortgage Guarantee in Housing Financing through Musyārakah Mutanāqiṣah Contract https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/al-jadwa/article/view/1957
In the banking system, collateral serves as a crucial tool for protecting creditors and ensuring debtors fulfill their obligations, particularly in transactions involving valuable assets like property. This study aims to analyze the implementation of collateral in the Musyārakah Mutanāqiṣah Contract on the Hijrah Home Ownership product at Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI) Makassar Branch and to evaluate the suitability of the application of collateral in housing financing through the Musyārakah Mutanāqiṣah Contract with Islamic economic principles. There are differences of opinion among ulama regarding the legal status of music, with some considering it haram while others allow it as a form of artistic expression. This study aims to detail the differences in views among ulama of Madhhab and compare them with the perspectives of students at the Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq State Islamic University (UIN KHAS) regarding the hadith prohibiting music. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection through literature studies and interviews. The results show that students have various views: most consider music to be permissible with certain conditions, such as not containing elements of blasphemy or distancing from worship. Some students argue that music is makruh because it is considered to cause negligence, while others do not even consider there is a prohibition in the hadith, seeing it more as a matter of perspective. In addition, students emphasize the importance of the context and content of music in determining its status. This study is expected to clarify students’ understanding of the hadith prohibiting music, show its relevance in modern life, and encourage a more open discussion between tradition and developments.
Farhan Nafiz Muhammad Ilyas Fahrezi Muharozak Copyright (c) 2025 Farhan Nafiz, Muhammad Ilyas, Fahrezi Muharozak https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-03-06 2025-03-06 4 2 196 209 10.38073/aljadwa.v4i2.2262 Developing a Generation Z-Friendly Da’wah Concept Based on Buya Hamka’s Perspective in Tafsir Al-Azhar https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/al-jadwa/article/view/2322
The concept of da’wah is very important in the spread of Islamic knowledge. Thus, this study aims to examine the concept of gen z friendly da’wah based on Buya Hamka’s perspective in Tafsir Al-Azhar. This research uses a literature study method with an analytical-descriptive approach to explore Buya Hamka’s thoughts, especially related to gen z friendly da’wah methods with the social context of Indonesian society. Tafsir Al-Azhar was chosen as the main reference because of its adab ijtima’i approach that focuses on social issues. The results showed that Buya Hamka offered three main concepts in da’wah, namely first da’wah with wisdom, which prioritizes wisdom, common sense, and a clean heart. Second, da’wah with mau’izhah hasanah, which is giving advice and teaching in a good and polite way. And third, da’wah with mujadalah billati hiya ahsan, namely preaching by discussing or arguing in the best way, full of patience, and respect. These three concepts are considered by Buya Hamka to be relevant for all generations, so this research has important contributions and contributions in the concept of da’wah for generation Z.
Anindhita Arina Yuliantika Muhammad Mukharom Ridho Parwanto Parwanto Mowafg Abrahem Masuwd Copyright (c) 2025 Anindhita Arina Yuliantika, Muhammad Mukharom Ridho, Parwanto Parwanto, Mowafg Abrahem Masuwd https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-03-10 2025-03-10 4 2 210 223 10.38073/aljadwa.v4i2.2322 Christmas Greetings from the Perspective of Inter-Religious Students and Academics in Medan https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/al-jadwa/article/view/2434
The diversity of religions and cultures in Indonesia often causes social problems, one of which is related to religious issues, such as giving Christmas greetings, which often cause differences of opinion among the community. While both offer advantages, there is limited research that compares their medical effects and alignment with the Sunnah. This study aims to examine their function and relevance in promoting oral health. The main objective of this study is to answer the question of whether the function of miswak has been replaced by toothpaste or if miswak still has a unique role that is important for dental health and the spiritual identity of Muslims. The methods used include analysis of hadith texts and a review of scientific literature related to the benefits of miswak and toothpaste from a health perspective. The results of the study indicate that miswak contains active substances such as natural fluoride, antibacterials, and antioxidants that are beneficial for dental and gum health, which are also found in modern toothpaste. Although toothpaste offers practicality, miswak still has irreplaceable value, both in terms of health and spirituality. The combination of the two is recommended as an integrative approach in maintaining dental health according to Islamic teachings and modern health needs.
Mathias Raihan Narayan Hutauruk Salasi Remanggi Fathul Qorib Copyright (c) 2025 Mathias Raihan Narayan Hutauruk, Salasi Remanggi, Fathul Qorib https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-03-22 2025-03-22 4 2 240 253 10.38073/aljadwa.v4i2.1977 Women Empowerment in Islamic Educational Institutions https://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/al-jadwa/article/view/2533
Women are often considered as second-class humans after men, there are many claims directed at women to overthrow them, the implication is that women often fail to develop their careers including in education.
