This study explores how the national ideology, Pancasila, is operationalized into a practical framework for tolerance education by local actors in Lumbang, East Java—a region known for its distinct multicultural harmony. Employing a Grounded Theory approach with in-depth interviews, this research analyzes the synergistic strategies of two key agents: teachers and community leaders. The findings reveal that digital media in this region functions not to create, but to amplify existing social harmony. Teachers act as strategic communicators, applying Inoculation Theory by proactively "injecting" cognitive defenses against hoaxes and positioning Pancasila as a critical ethical filter in the classroom. Conversely, Community Leaders operate as gatekeepers who prioritize "heart-to-heart" interpersonal communication over digital interactions to mitigate conflicts, viewing social media as a supplementary tool rather than a primary solution. The study concludes that Pancasila is successfully revitalized not as a mere abstract concept, but as a "lived digital ethics" or shared frame of reference. This research offers a unique bottom-up model of digital resilience where formal pedagogical structure and informal communal wisdom intersect to sustain tolerance.
2026-03-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Mukhamad Ainul Yaqinhttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/aijis/article/view/4467Needs Analysis on the Implementation of the Window Shopping Learning Model in Islamic Religious Education to Enhance Creative Thinking Skills2026-02-11T22:13:57+00:00Dias Maulanamaulandias967@gmail.com

This study aims to analyze the application of the Window Shopping learning model in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Ethics subjects at SMP N 1 Cilacap. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a field study type. The research subjects consisted of PAI teachers and ninth-grade students in class A. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Window Shopping model is implemented through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. The planning stage includes the preparation of lesson plans and teaching materials. In the implementation stage, teachers begin the lesson with an introduction, followed by group discussions, presentations of work, and “visiting” activities to observe and provide feedback on other groups' work. Evaluation was carried out through assessment for learning using observation and summative assessment techniques. The application of this model showed an increase in student activity, creativity, questioning skills, discussion participation, and understanding of the material. Thus, the Window Shopping model is considered effective in creating interactive and student-centered PAI learning.
2026-03-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Dias Maulanahttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/aijis/article/view/4225Ibn Rushd’s Rationality as an Effort to Combat Superstition: An Epistemological Analysis of Islamic Thought2026-02-11T22:21:24+00:00Alpin Harianto25205031019@student.uin-suka.ac.id
This article examines Ibn Rushd’s rationality as an epistemological strategy in combating superstition (khurafat) within the Islamic intellectual tradition. The main issue addressed is the persistence of religious practices and beliefs that lack a solid rational and epistemic foundation, often sustained through blind taqlid, textual literalism, and methodological errors in understanding revelation. This phenomenon highlights the urgency of reintroducing a rational framework for a responsible interpretation of Islamic teachings. The study aims to analyze Ibn Rushd’s concept of rationality, particularly the status of reason, the burhan method, and his critique of irrational patterns of religiosity, as well as to assess its relevance in the contemporary Islamic context. This research employs a qualitative library-based method using an epistemological and historical-philosophical approach to Ibn Rushd’s major works and recent academic studies. The findings indicate that Ibn Rushd’s rationality does not stand in opposition to revelation; rather, it functions as an instrument for purifying religion from distortion and superstition. By positioning reason as a means of verifying religious understanding, Ibn Rushd offers a model of religiosity that is critical, moderate, and intellectually responsible. This article contributes to strengthening rational Islamic thought as a constructive alternative in responding to contemporary religious challenges.
2026-03-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Alpin Hariantohttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/aijis/article/view/4289Preservation Of Islamic Educational Values Amid The Transformation Of The Batamat Al-Qur’an Tradition Among The Banjar Community2026-02-11T22:31:48+00:00Indah Rahmawatiindahrahmaaawati44@gmail.comNuril Khasyi'innurilkhasyiin@uin-antasari.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the preservation of Islamic educational values within the batamat Al-Qur’an tradition of the Banjar community amid its transformation in form and context. The tradition, once conducted privately at home, has evolved into an institutional activity in non-formal and formal educational settings. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method through interviews, observations, and documentation involving Qur’an teacher, head of the institution, and community figure as informants. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with source and method triangulation. The results show that despite the changes in practice, Islamic educational values such as respect for teachers, reverence for the Qur’an, social bonding, charity, and habitual Qur’an recitation remain preserved. These values are reflected in three main dimensions: ʿibâdah (worship), akhlâq (morality), and tawhîd (faith). The batamat Al-Qur’an tradition thus serves as a medium for internalizing Islamic educational values that adapt to contemporary developments.
2026-03-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Indah Rahmawati, Nuril Khasyi'inhttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/aijis/article/view/3573The Effect of Islamic Business Ethics Implementation and Product Innovation on Customer Satisfaction2025-10-31T02:45:47+00:00Abdul Muhyiabdulmuhyi@gmail.comWelly Kuswantowellykuswanto@uiidalwa.ac.id
Amidst intense retail competition, business entities are required to have adaptive strategies to win the market. This study aims to deeply analyze the effect of implementing Islamic Business Ethics and product innovation on consumer satisfaction at Lirboyo Bakery, a unique representation of a pesantren-based business (Santripreneur). This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, which were then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model. The results show a holistic synergy where Islamic Business Ethics acts as a trust builder and moral filter through the principles of siddiq and ihsan, generating affective satisfaction. Meanwhile, product innovation serves as a differentiator and market relevance maintainer through variant and packaging development, leading to functional satisfaction. In conclusion, the blend of moral integrity and adaptive functional quality makes business ethics a primary non-financial competitive advantage. This research contributes to enriching Islamic economic literature by proving that the synergy of pesantren ethical values and modern innovation is key to business sustainability and comprehensive consumer satisfaction.
2026-03-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Abdul Muhyi, Welly Kuswantohttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/aijis/article/view/3575Sharia-Based Marketing Strategy: Ethical Approach and Market Segmentation in Improving Service Quality and Consumer Satisfaction2025-10-31T02:47:15+00:00Sy. Amirah Nur Adilah Al-Aididsyamirahuradilaha@gmail.comMuhammad Alkaffmalkaff@gmail.com
The dynamics of the modern economy require Islamic financial institutions, such as Pegadaian Syariah, to integrate ethical and fairness principles into their marketing strategies in order to address issues of uncertainty (gharar) and conventional profit maximization. This research is urgent due to the challenges in developing market segmentation that is in line with consumers' spiritual values amid low Islamic finance literacy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the ethics-based marketing strategy and market segmentation applied by the Dompu Branch of Pegadaian Syariah in order to improve service quality and customer loyalty. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of management and marketing staff. The results show that the product strategy (rahn syariah) eliminates the element of usury and is reinforced by ZIS services, as well as transparent and fair ('adl) pricing. Market segmentation focused on psychographic dimensions (religiousness and morality) proved effective in increasing customer retention. Promotion was directed as intensive education to overcome misconceptions, although low literacy remains a major challenge. The conclusion shows that this strategy has succeeded in building loyalty through value (ethical) alignment and transparency, providing a practical contribution in the form of a value-based sharia marketing model at the regional level.
2026-03-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Sy. Amirah Nur Adilah Al-Aidid, Muhammad Alkaffhttps://ejournal.uiidalwa.ac.id/index.php/aijis/article/view/3574Sharia-Based Diversification Strategies for Rubber Farmers in Facing Price Fluctuations2025-10-31T02:46:29+00:00Hadijah Indah Sarihadijahis990@gmail.comInayatul Maulaiinplakat@gmail.com
The persistent fluctuation of global natural rubber prices and associated non-market risks continue to challenge the sustainability and income stability of rubber farmers, particularly in Desa Salam Babaris, Tapin Regency. This economic uncertainty compels farmers to adopt adaptive strategies rooted not only in material profit but also in principles of ethics and justice. This study aims to analyze the diversification and adaptation strategies employed by rubber farmers in response to price shocks, specifically from the perspective of Sharia Economic principles. The research utilizes a qualitative approach with a case study method, gathering data through in-depth interviews, and employing an optimization analysis framework based on Sharia diversification theory. The findings indicate that farmers effectively employ crop diversification (such as rice and vegetables) as an income buffer and utilize direct marketing for cost efficiency. These strategies are strongly supported by robust Social Capital within Farmers Groups (Poktan), which serves as a mechanism for ta'awun (mutual help) and proactive agronomic adaptation against environmental risks. These practices enhance the farmers' economic resilience and are substantially aligned with the principles of justice ('adl) and honesty (shiddiq). We conclude that this integrated adaptation model is effective in achieving sustainable economic well-being and contributes a valuable reference for developing just, sustainable, and ethics-based agricultural policies.
2026-03-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Hadijah Indah Sari, Inayatul Maula
